Lekha Odia is the Government of Odisha's official Odia typing assessment programme, implemented to standardise typing proficiency for state government positions. Administered through the official portal at lekha.odisha.gov.in, the programme tests candidates on their ability to type Odia text using the BIS IS 16350 InScript keyboard layout.
Passing the Lekha Odia typing assessment is mandatory for candidates applying to positions such as OSSC Junior Grade Typist, OSSSC Junior Assistant, and various other Odisha government posts that require Odia typing skills. The exam measures both typing speed (words per minute) and accuracy, with minimum speed requirements ranging from 16 to 30 WPM depending on the position.

How Lekha Odia Typing Exams Work

3. Take the Timed Typing Test
Type a provided Odia passage within the allotted time (typically 10 minutes). Your net WPM is calculated by subtracting errors from gross speed. Accuracy of 95% or higher is recommended.
4. Check Results
